Nadezda Pisareva and Georgy Tchaidze began playing together as students of Sergey Dorensky at the Moscow Conservatory. Both went on to complete the Konzertexamen with Klaus Hellwig at the Universität der Künste Berlin. The duo performs for piano four hands and for two pianos and builds its programmes across both repertoires.
In 2017 the duo made its debut at the Oriental Art Center in Shanghai, followed by a sixteen-city tour of China with solo and duo programmes; in 2018 it returned for eleven cities. At the Konzerthaus Berlin the two pianists played works by Stravinsky for piano four hands at the 2019 festival Stravinsky Absolut! and returned in 2023 with a duo recital that included music by Stravinsky. In January 2026 they were the soloists in Malcolm Arnold’s Concerto for piano duet with the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, performed without conductor, in Wiesbaden and Bad Homburg.
L’Adoration de la terre

The duo’s debut album was released by GENUIN classics (GEN 26968) on 8 May 2026. It places Stravinsky’s own four-hand version of Le Sacre du printemps beside Debussy’s Six Épigraphes antiques and Bartók’s Két kép (Two Pictures) op. 10 in Zoltán Kocsis’s arrangement for two pianos – three works composed between 1910 and 1915. Between May and August 2026 the recording was reviewed in Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Canada and the USA. Fono Forum devoted a double portrait to the duo in its July issue.
